CAT Blood Pressure Monitor

A very light weight and compact machine which measures systolic blood pressure noninvasively using a Doppler technique. The machine is used with standard lightweight earphones on all cats and most dogs. This is particularly helpful when trying to locate the artery as maximum volume can be used without frightening the animal.

Use the palmar metacarpal artery or palmar common digital artery in the forelimb, the dorsal pedal (perforating metatarsal) artery or the plantar metatarsal artery in the hindlimb or the median coccygeal artery in the tail.
